First of all i want to thank the makers of red dead redemption for creating my
favorite game of all time!
you dudes are fricking rockstars! and no other studio in the world could have
done a better job, i love you guys!!!
First things first, keep everything from the first game, when i mean everything
i mean everything! (in aspect of gameplay mechanics not story,map and
characters of course) stay true to the formula and dont listen to the whiners
and the haters.
Add better stealth mechanics, you can take inspiration from the Last of us, i
think they have really nailed the stealth mechanic
Add better melee combat and enviromental kills like using whiskey bottles or a
chair to kill someone (in the way the warriors game did it).
Make the shooting and bulletime a little better like you did with max payne 3.
Add a bigger map twice the size of the original red dead redemption :-) full
with activities and random events.
Add big epic battles with hundred of soldiers on screen,trenches,artillery
strikes and cavarly charges during the american civil war and the indians
wars.
Allow us to make our own posse,add three ai partners to the main characters
who are following the hero everywhere.
Make us rob banks,trains and stores together
(Some ideas for the partners)
1 An indian scout who can track the enemy movement
2 A young and reckless cowboy who gets in trouble all the time
3 An older and crunky cowboy who is constantly complaining how things are
not the way they used to and
4 add a dog (your most loyal friend).
Add Famous old west personas like Buffaloo Bill,Calamite Jean,Billy the
Kidd,Jesse James,Dalton Brothers and many more
More Battles with Indians and a more interesting native american
element,show us their camps and their culture,various tribes,smoke
signals,peace pipe,totems,scalps,tomahawks and things like that,show us
also their families and their way of life not only the warriors
Show also whites selling guns and booze to them
Show us the american cavarly with forts and everything
Make the cavalry always arrive on time :-)
Add a big old west prison where if you get caught you are forced in breaking
rocks while wearing stripped pajamas and also add a big prison break mission
(like you did in gta 2)
Add Caravans with civilians who can get sick of dissenteria (like in that old
dos game :-))
Add also eccentric europeans who want desperately to see the old west
Add The Wild West Show of Buffaloo Bill
Add a travelling circus with lions, lions tamers,elephants and horse shows
(Circus in gaming are always awesome i dont know why)
Animals are perfect add more maybe
Add more poker cheaters
Add more complex bounty hunter activities,bounties can became a major
element in the game, also make us meet other fellow bounty hunters
Add Mining to the activities inside mines or even better in a river using a pan
The craziness of the Gold Rush can become a very important element in the
game also add a gold miners ghost town (also the oil rush can become
significant)
Add Woodcutting as an activity (but not in the way skyrim did it make us
actually cut down the tree)
Add a chinese laundry store and a chinese restaurant
Add a rodeo with spectators and bullriding
Add swimming and a canoe so that you can traverse rivers
Add snow blizzards,tornados,earthquakes,heavy rain,mud and more
enviromental effects
Improve the duels
Add more cannibals
Add Saloon Dancers in the saloon and a more noisy enviroment
Add a hardcore mode where you need to eat and drink to survive
Allow us to detonate bridges and then rob the train
Add Canada and their canadiens guards
The Game could take place in the klondike gold rush
Or the missipi river with New orleans and steamboats
Add a gravedigger dressed in all black like a crow
Add more charlatans

Protect the workers who are building the railroad
Protect the Civilian Caravan from indians and bandits
Protect the workers who are establishing the wire
I Think the coolest and most awesome thing you could do is to create a story
that manages to incorporate all those very important events in american
history
American Civil War 1861-1865
Little Big Horn 1876
Oklahoma Land Rush of 1889
The Klondike Gold Rush 1896
For example the tutorial could start in ireland where the young hero is born,at
the age of 16 he gets in the ship and at the age of 17 in the moment he
arrives on liberty city (New york lol) 1862 he gets recruited on the union
army, he partecipates in the american civil war but after that disgusted decides to
become an outlaw and in 1876 he partecipates in the battle of big horn
provinding help to the indians,after that we see him in the oklahoma land rush
and in the klondike gold rush in some way robbing or helping the good folks
I have to give credit for my ispirations to the european comics tex willer and
lucky luke, they have some tremendous good ideas for missions and
characters.
